Rover 75 tenth anniversary meet

It's hard to believe that the Rover 75 was launched at Birmingham’s NEC back in 1998. Enthusiasts’ website MG-Rover.org has decided to mark the Tenth Anniversary by organising a gathering at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire on Sunday, 5th October, 2008. There will be a dedicated parking area, with initial space of up to 100 cars, but more can be accommodated.

The organiser, Stu C, a member of the MG-Rover.org Forum, said: "We are aiming to get as many 75's on show as possible and, depending on how many are able to make it, a nice collection of its sportier MG ZT brother parked behind the 75's would make for a great show. If all the spaces are taken up, not to worry, anyone can come along as it is a public place after all but, as well as this event, there is a Rover SD1 Parts Market on the same day, so hopefully there will be a nice turn out of SD1s to have a look around too."

Parking at Gaydon is free and, for all people attending the event, there will be reduced £6 entrance to the museum. Stu added: "I would also like to say that, as this is a meet for the Rover 75, we all appreciate the brand and model so, if anyone from the Rover 75 and MG ZT Owners Club would like to park in the line up or come visit and say hi, you are more then welcome to."
